Clients and professionals travel from all over the world. to learn about Soma's RPM. Already, learning RPM has liberated hundreds of students and families who had not found success with other teaching approaches. HALO's aims to reach as many students as possible with RPM. We want students to experience exemplary academic learning which otherwise has not been available. We want parents to be empowered to teach and communicate with their child. And we want to positively impact societal views and understanding about the learning potential of persons with autism and similar disorders.
HALO members are encouraged to get informed and involved in the organization, so that all those using RPM are working together to improve the many lives which are affected by autism. Linking communication between students, parents and professionals in RPM instruction is intended to help spread RPM understanding and use faster than if advocates were working in isolation. Sharing student progress in this burgeoning effort helps all RPM users to move forward more effectively and uniformly. And sharing ideas and resources also fuels HALO's efforts to grow Soma's RPM.
